The Elissa Award

Sledgehammer fans, you might have had the chance to meet 970815_10200698669922808_1040843647_nElissa Nelson if you were ever at a Portland event. We hope you did. She was an avid supporter and participated in nearly every Mini Sledgehammer for about four years and one of the big events. She even ran the Portland Mini Sledgehammers for a while.

Elissa was a good friend to many of us, and we were sorry to see her leave this world in late 2013. In her memory, we are renaming the Readers’ Choice Award as the Elissa Award. Thanks for the memories, E.
